Simplante was founded in 2022 by Tiphaine, a passionate engineer, in response to two key observations: the challenges faced by home gardeners and the lack of concrete solutions addressing new environmental regulations in the horticultural sector. Based in Avrillé and supported from the beginning by Pépite, Les Entrep’, Angers Technopole, and Végépolys Valley, Simplante develops home-compostable gardening accessories to reduce plastic waste in the industry.
In collaboration with the INP Pagora engineering school (specialized in biomaterials and paper engineering) and local companies, we have designed products that are as durable as traditional plastic, resistant to both water and UV exposure. Launched in February 2025, our first products have already received very positive feedback from users, who appreciate their durability, effectiveness, and reusability.
Our ambition? To make these new biomaterials the standard in horticulture, and eventually expand these innovative solutions into other sectors such as industry and agri-food. Because responsible gardening should never mean compromising on performance.
